At Hosting Support Guru, the goal is to deliver the best quality managed support service to the clients. Instead of reacting to problems, Hosting Support Guru focuses on preventive action aimed at eliminating the root causes of downtime and minimizing the effects of any failure if it does occur. Even after our best of the efforts, the servers do need to be monitored so that the support engineers can get in to action on service faliures before the customers start complaining.

Unlike other hosting support companies, we do not charge additional for monitoring your servers. This is because we know that without server monitoring the support is incomplete.

The moment you sign up with us for the Server Administration plan, we add your servers to our monitoring system. The monitoring system polls your web server every 1 minutes and alerts our 24x7 support team via email, pagers, Blackberry and their PDA's.

Immediate Response

Our monitoring services include human verification of all services reporting down on your server. Our team is available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week to restart your services and/or reboot your server upon verification of service or server failure. The support engineer get's in to action as soon as he/she get's the alert and acknowledges the same. Based on the severity of the issue, either the service is restarted or the data center is contacted on behalf of the client to resolve the issue. In certain cases, reboots via KVM or ROD are also performed to get the server back online.

Monitoring Reports

Our monitoring servers poll the servers every minute and store the collected information in a database. Since the monitoring is client-server based an agent will be installed in your server which sends back the polling information to the master server. We store 60 days of data in our database and you can request a monitoring report by contacting us.
